I am a Graphic Design Intern at Tille’s / House of Needlework, where I work across branding, digital content, print design, packaging, social media and webshop updates. My interest in graphic design started back in 2015, and since then I have built experience with both creative design work and the more practical side of running digital platforms.
I work with Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, After Effects and Premiere Pro, as well as Figma for layout, design systems and collaboration. Alongside my design work, I also have experience with social media management, WordPress websites, SEO, e-commerce and digital marketing.
For as long as I can remember, I have loved being creative. Throughout my life, I have experimented with and worked in many different mediums, from painting and embroidery to jewelry making, woodworking, and much more. When I finally saved enough for my own laptop and discovered Adobe, I immediately fell in love with graphic design. I delved into web design, animation, logo creation, and everything in between, quickly learning a lot on my own. I started working professionally in 2019 and have had great opportunities to work on many different projects and with many amazing people, gaining a lot of experience over the years.
I love contributing wherever I can, so when I was asked to help design print collateral for Stafet for Livet, I was quick to say yes! Collaborating with the very talented Shannon Silvasen, we created roll-ups, programs, beach flags, music flyers, and more. It was amazing working with the team at Stafet for Livet to ensure a wonderful event supporting a good cause, while creating captivating and informative print materials.
During my three years at Aalborg Technical Gymnasium, I had the amazing opportunity to work in London for an entire month as a web designer at Moiotso. There, I worked on multiple projects involving website design, leaflets, logo samples, and other brand identity components. I gained valuable experience collaborating with a diverse range of colleagues and clients, providing me with extensive insight into the industry and the differences in working in another country.
At BetterRoomie, we have greatly enjoyed working with Mathilde. She has been professional and easy to collaborate with throughout the entire process. We are extremely satisfied with the final product and would happily work with her again.
